Seals are naturally curious animals. In places where they aren't frequently disturbed, they'll often swim right up to boats, kayaks, divers, and cameras to investigate the strange visitors.
Their excellent underwater vision and sensitive whiskers help them explore everything around them.
But don't let the cute face fool you.
