This isn't water.
It's whale milk.
Whale milk is so rich in fat—often 35–50%—that it's closer to toothpaste than the milk humans are used to drinking.
That thick consistency stops it from dissolving in seawater, allowing the calf to drink every drop while growing at an incredible speed.
